07/02/09 As I look out my window here at the JUNK BUSTERS World Headquarters I think a vacation in Iceland may do the trick to get out of this oppressive heat we’ve seen in Texas for almost two weeks now. Whether you believe in global warming or not one thing is for sure-It’s hotter than hell in Texas lately! Hauling junk is a tough job and the blistering heat is making things more challenging for all the teams. I think we’re keeping Gatorade in business. I highly suggest you buy their stock. I never hear of any reports lately that suggest an ice age is on the horizon.

Latest Cool Thing we got off a job site: Tom Jones Greatest hits album and a 1930’s wooden homemade hand saw. It looks like its right out of the Great Depression.
06/30/09 we’ll I must be entering the 21st century because the CJO (Chief Junk Officer) is now officially blogging. One thing is for sure is there will never be a shortage of information and topics to discuss in the world of JUNK BUSTERS-USA. We recently reached a new milestone in the fact that we opened in our second market, San Antonio Texas. Jeff Schloss has joined the JB family and is running our SA operations. We’re excited to have him on board and we are already making great progress there.

One of the challenges all businesses face is that as they grow it’s imperative to stay focused on maintaining your level of customer service. That’s of course assuming they even care about customer service. I’m really beginning to wonder about that recently with several companies I have worked with.

More often than not companies sacrifice great service for fast growth. I’ve seen it so many times before when a company’s focus is all about growth. They forget that customer’s don’t care how big the company is; they care about how well you can take care of them.

As we move forward in San Antonio and additional markets we are 100% committed to maintaining our reputation as the leader for full service junk removal. It’s the only way to go.

Latest Cool Thing we got off a job site: A 2001: A Space Odyssey comic book. Cool.
